The second type will give you a legit workout (agility drills, squats, etc), put you in pain (the good kind, the pain of getting stronger) and then use massage, ice and TENS afterward. The first type I experienced, they did minimal massage, and very simple exercises (abc's with my foot, picking up marbles etc) that never seemed to help and I would always end up injured again just months down the road. In my experience with physical therapy there tends to be two types of therapy. I can not say enough good things about Synergy Sports and Rehab!
